Oh no, my blogging frequency is exponentially decreasing :\

Oh well, life nowadays revolves around nothing but work work work!
I'm kind of content with life right now. I mean, i'm earning income from a job thats interesting and yet not too taxing, so life is not bad indeed :)
The only down side is that i have to wake up at unearthly hours (5am tmr!) and i'm missing alot of meetings with the usual groups of guys :(

OKOK backtrack to work!

Most of last week was spent on the preparation of the opening of forest restaurant at the new RWS equarius hotel! Sadly, i was attached to the room service people most of the time to do...menial work!
Like whuttt. But oh well, being a guy aint a good thing all the time haha! We shifted cartons after cartons of utensils and the typical restaurant stuff from the containers to the restaurant itself. That kind of concludes most of....3 days?

Next comes the fun part ;)

While the girls were cleaning up/preparing the restaurant i was doing room service stuff with the full-timers like I,J,A,J,M,G and it basically comprises stocking up the mini-bars in the new hotel rooms!
We split into 2 groups and went into rooms after rooms to stock up the beverages.
In the meantime, I snuck into a few rooms and i gotta admit, the furnishing looks great :)
The best part? The view! Some rooms got a view of boring forest while others overlooked the villas.
The rooms on level 3 must be the more expensive suites, cause they had a mini balcony laid with carpet grass for idk what reasons hahaha!

But seriously, nothing, NOTHING can top the luxury of the villas.
If i heard correctly, the villas cost like 20k per night? IKR. FKIN CRAZY!
Luck was on my side that day. I rode on a buggy to top up the mini-bars in the villas! woohoooo~
I love the buggy rides. They're fast but steady and the wind whips past constantly which is nothing but awesome :)
The journey by foot to the villas sucked though. I had to trawl in mud wearing my leather shoes :(
But no worries, the shoe polisher machine at the central wardrobe wiped everything away LOL.

OKOK, back to the villas.

Whoa. really. Whoa. the villas are freaking spacious!
Open the door, step in, and TA-DAH ur facing the balcony which gives you a view across the freaking sea to harbourfront centre and the ports.
As if that's not enough, you get a personal pool(i think) for the double-bedroom villas. Seriously. You can wake up, open the balcony, and DIVE RIGHT IN. Thats the life yeah!
And the toilets, oh the toilets are freaking cool! Right in front of the tubs, sealed behind a glass door is a television so you can soak and catch up on your shows at the same time. Wth man, if i'm rich imma get something like that for sure!
Each villa is also equipped with a BIG television that constantly runs previews of the rides at USS.
And oh, there are coffee makers in each villas and the coffee packets are wrapped in spehrical sci-fi cones that comes in many colours with detailed explanations of each type of coffee!
Each villa also has massage chairs for private massage sessions.
For the single bedroom villas, if i'm not wrong outside the balcony are jacuzzis!

Hahas, if i go on anymore i can be RWS promoter liao :P
If possible maybe i'll upload some pictures to illustrate the view etc in the future!
But if you ask me, i don't think its worth it to spend a bomb on lodging hahaha oops.

This week marked the start of service. On monday we had to report to the restaurant at 7am! ZZZ.
The entire morning there wasn't many guests but the experience was great because it was my first time taking orders and serving food instead of merely clearing plates and aceding to customer's requests. I'm kind of really glad that i've settled in with the job and really no longer that nervous or clumsy hahaha! But theres still room for improvement!
Oh wait, did i mention, Sa got praised by many customers whoaaaa next time can expect tips liao XD
Hey, i'm aiming to get lotsa tips in the future too :)

This job really comes with ALOT of benefits, enough to make anyone jealous hahaha!
Firstly, we got to eat the buffet food after the customers left! OH YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Secondly, we went for the staff preview of the newly-opened ride in jurassic park at USS!
We slacked, chit-chat and played alot random stuff while waiting for the ride to open at 7.30pm.
To be honest the ride wasn't that awesome hahas. Basically you get on a float that spins and brings u across a jurassic park-like scene with the occasional wave that splashes onto the suay ones. Then you enter a dark tunnel. After the dark tunnel comes the climax, the lift.
You enter a compartment and the shuttle closes and you realise its a lift that raises you.
I'll be honest, i was FKIN SCARED they were gonna lift the float and drop it from a few feet high!
But thankfully the doors opened and we were pushed down a long slide that eventually leads to the biggest splash! Thankfully i was on the right side and emerged dry HAHAHA! Me ,S and A were dry. JY and N i not sure but F got splashed lol.
Oh did i mention, S and i had our feets up to avoid getting them wet and the announcement came from the intercom to "sit upright and put your feets down" LOLOLOLOL.
Wanted go cafe eat but it was closed so we headed to banquet at vivo.

Tuesday and today, which is a wednesday, was our off-days.
On tuesday I went to Sa house to mahjong and then we went to eat at punggol nasi lemak :)
Today, we went prawning! HAHA! Quite fun luh but it gets boring when we're on a dry spell.
But today's catch was not bad! we caught 18 prawns in total with like 4 giant ones! Not bad for first-timers eh!
Then we went to opposite my house's food centre to eat prawn noodles LOL.

So yupps, life is great! Just wished there was no need to spend money. Seriously, spending ur hard-earned money will heart pain :\

Oh well, got work tomorrow! Need to wake up at 5 again :(
