I spent the countdown in waiter attire at Resort World Sentosa ballroom.
SAD RIGHT! HAHA!
But guess what, i don't regret it, AT ALL.
They said it was probably the grandest banquet setting one can see in singapore, and i'll admit its kinda true.
Everything is just...so beautiful :)

Btw the work was hectic like madddd but it generally went well :)
I actually ate at bagus cafe TWICE today lol, once at 4 and another at 7. And thats after eating lunch at home at 1. LOL pig right HAAHHA.
Anyway as we counted down with celebrities Adrian Pang and Chermaine Cho, i surprisingly felt nonchalant about entering 2012. I just...do people ever grow accustomed to growing old? It just feels so natural that another year has flown by hmmm...
But thats not to say i'm not happy that its the new year :)

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

One thing i realised from this event is that i'm starting to love my job :)
Its challenging but fulfilling, and definitely much more interesting than the thought of clerical/admin work which has always been what i visualised myself doing.
The way RWS runs is really damn organised and nearly every single co-worker i had the good fortune to meet is really super dedicated and just damn good at what they do.
AND, they're awesome people too :) Or maybe i'm just lucky to always be working with nice people.
This job makes me feel as though i've been living underground for the past 18 years :\

This year, i don't have any new year resolutions. I'm gonna just let life guide me along and learn along the way, because life is simply too unpredictable.

2011 has not been a very good year for me. In fact, i think i'm sad more often than happy. If its not studying woes its life problems. And when ur life revolves around school with nothing else to distract you the life is like SHIT.
LIKE. SHIT.
But one good thing that came out of it is the maturity. I've never accepted that life is unfair but i'm starting to. 2011 made me feel all grown up and i have mixed feelings about it. This post may seem super pessimistic but its written in a state of total serenity.
Serenity. I like the word :)
With every year life seems to speed up. The last month was a complete blur. I cant recall what i did or where all the time went. But i can't really be bothered to, because i swear the next 5 months will be meaningful and fulfilling.

I wanna grow up and yet retain my youth. 20 plus seems to be the ideal phase in life :)
You can be childish all you want and yet be all adultish when the need arises.
You can do everything without fear or repercussions because all its costing you is youth.
